Traditional Sauteed Nopales – Nopales A La Mexicana
Nopales are a delicious Mexican traditional meal for breakfast. When cooked correctly with supporting ingredients Nopales don’t only taste great they offer many health benefits including weight loss, cancer prevention, heart health, improved digestive health, boosting immune system and much more.
  1. Start by rinsing produce and mincing garlic, and chopping the onions and nopales.
  2. In a pan heat the cooking oil to medium high and add all your ingredients and cook for 10 to 15 minutes mixing frequently so not to burn any ingredients.
  3. Once the nopales have turned from a bright green to a dark green the nopales are done. Plate and enjoy.
  4. Optional – you can add an egg and scramble, add salt and pepper as desired.
  5. Cook until the egg is at preferred readiness. Plate and enjoy.
